Adnams shop expansion

Suffolk brewer Adnams is planning to expand its Cellar & Kitchen shop chain to 30 stores by 2012. Three wine and kitchenware shops - including one with a licensed cafe - are to open in East Anglia before Christmas, bringing the chain to eight. Six more are planned for next year.

Palomino, not Albariño

On page 25 of the New Wave Spanish Wine Awards supplement, published Sept 7, it states that Fernando de Castilla Antique Oloroso sherry, joint winner in the Best Sherry category, is made from the Albariño grape. The description should read Palomino, the main grape for sherry production. We apologise for any confusion.
