E&J Brandy launches E&J Apple into UK
E&J Brandy plans to introduce E&J Apple to its UK portfolio with the aim of building on the growth of the brandy category.

The Apple variant was introduced to the US market in 2016 and is now the second largest growth product in flavoured brown spirits.
David Mallory, channel director at E&J Gallo, said: “E&J Apple is experiencing impressive growth in US. We hope to emulate this success in the UK, where flavoured spirits are the largest contributor to spirit sales, with an 18.3% market share according to the latest WSTA data. We believe that E&J Apple will be popular with those who enjoy flavoured and regular brandy, as well as those who enjoy spirits with a fruitier taste profile.”
E&J Apple is made using E&J’s unique brandy base, combined with premium neutral spirits and flavours of apple. It offers a sweet, crisp apple flavour with a hint of vanilla, caramel and citrus, according to the producer. It can be served on the rocks, neat or with complimentary mixers, such as cranberry juice, ginger beer or cider.
The Gallo family has been making brandy since 1938. After distillation the brandy is put primarily into American Oak barrels for a minimum of two years.
E&J Brandy Apple is available for £16.49 for a 70cl bottle.
