DMD Ventures signs up Casa Dragones and III Big Dogs

The company has been appointed the exclusive UK distributor of Casa Dragones tequila and III Big Dogs vodka, which will be available to retail customers via the DMD Ventures retail website and to the trade via Vanquish Operations.

Casa Dragones, the world-renowned small batch premium tequila, which retails for up to £225 a bottle, is the brainchild of Bob Pittman, the co-founder of MTV, and chief executive Bertha Gonzalez Nieves is the first female maestra tequilera in the industry.

She said: “We are very pleased to be offering our sipping tequilas to customers in the London market, one of the most important luxury markets in the world. Our mission as a small batch producer is to be one of the tequila producers shaping the industry for the future through modern production and Mexican craftsmanship, and to offer exceptional supping experience to all of our customers, whether they are in London, New York or Paris.”

III Big Dogs Vodka, which retails at £34.99, was created by James Parker, the founder of the clothing brand, Gym King. The English vodka has been distilled seven times.

James Bagley, chief executive of DMD Ventures, said: “Major luxury drinks brands are now recognising the retail and trade access DMD Ventures can offer. We are thrilled to be working on an exclusive basis with such exciting brands as Casa Dragones and III Big Dogs, and the response from our on-trade clientele has been incredible."
