Cinema and TV ads for Russian vodka

Russian Standard vodka is to launch a month-long cinema ad campaign from Oct 31, to be followed by a four-week run on TV.

The cinema campaign will focus on major releases including the James bond film Quantum of Solace, with the aim of being seen by 6 million people in its target audience of aspirational 18 to 34-year-olds.

A shorter version of the ad will run nationally on major terrestrial channels.

Andy Corris, senior brand manager at distributor first Drinks Brands, said: “We are providing further trade support at an important time of year.

“We remain firmly committed to the brand and have ambitious plans for 2009, building on the £8 million investment it has seen this year.”
