Chamarré launches Vignobles de France wines

French wine producer Chamarré is re-launching its Réserve Spéciale range to take advantage of the new Vignobles de France classification.

Under the new law, the range - originally classified as a Vins de Table because it was sourced from grapes from different French regions - can now specify grape varieties used to make it on the label.

The brand’s Grand Reserve range will also be launched in the UK this year following its success in the US. The range is made from single grape varieties grown in different regions in France.

Chamarré said the new system enabled the brands to become more “customer friendly”.
