Festive brews from Sheps
Kent brewer Shepherd Neame has released two festive brews.
Christmas Ale, which originally launched in 2007, has been given a new look with a Dickensian-style label on its 50cl bottles.
The 7% abv beer is made from pale and crystal malts with Target and Challenger hops for bitterness and Goldings for aroma.
Rudolph’s Reward, developed in Sheps’ pilot brewery, is a crisp, light winter beer with hints of mulling spices added at the end of the brew.
It weighs in at 3.8% abv and comes in 50cl bottles.
Head brewer Richard Frost said: “Whether you enjoy the traditional flavour of our popular Christmas Ale, or sample the innovative taste of Rudolph’s Reward, we are very proud of the special beers we have created for the festive season.”
