US craft beer range expands at Nottingham distributor
Nottingham’s Left Coast Distribution has increased its range of American beers by adding ten new products from Seattle’s Two Beers brewery.
The newcomers comprise of a mixture of can, bottle and draft formats.
The two bottled variants, which come in a 650ml size, include Fresh Hop IPA and the 5.9% abv Pumpkin Spice Ale.
The latter is described as “a bright, clean and refreshing ale that is a spicy gold medal-winning small-batch brew, offering up clove, cinnamon, allspice, ginger and natural pumpkin”.
In cans, the distributor now stocks three new 12oz variants: EVO IPA, Trailhead ISA and the 5.5% abv Grey Skies Dark Pale Ale, which offers a nod to the Northwest weather.
It has a deep mahogany colour with aromas of lemon, orange peel and caramel. Grey Skies is said to be bursting with flavours of orange juice and grapefruit, with hints of peach and subtle toast.
“From our initial research of breweries in Washington, Two Beers stood out to me as one that we MUST bring over,” explained Left Coast’s national sales manager, Andy Young. “From start to finish the emphasis is on quality and that’s evident right down to their packaging. I think we can all agree that ‘life is a little more honest after Two Beers’”.
The brewer was born in 2007 and has grown from 100 to 6,000 barrels a year; and it now produces 12 unique brews.
Head brewer, Joel VandenBrink, said: “Two Beers has a strong love for the Pacific Northwest and all things outdoors. Our beers pay tribute to those experiences.”
On draft the range includes the unusual Ginger Peach Kolsch as well as Jive Espresso Stout.
